Dr. Gerald Harris featured speaker at 7th Annual Legislative Prayer Breakfast

Dr. J. Gerald Harris, Editor of the Christian Index was the featured speaker at the 7th Annual Legislative Prayer Breakfast sponsored by the Ethics and Public Affairs of the Georgia Baptist Convention. The event took place on January 28th in the Empire Room on the 20th floor of the James H. "Sloppy" Floyd Veterans Memorial Building across from the state capitol in Atlanta. The breakfast is a time for GBC representatives of various stripes to meet with their own legislators as well as others from across Georgia. "We invite all representatives and senators," said Newman. "It's important for the legislators to know that we care and are praying for them," he said. "I was impressed with the number that came out. Whether you're a leader in a church or nation, God holds you responsible for your decisions."
