Canton resident Adam Hall, 17, was located hiding August 7 in the women’s restroom at the Springfield Trace subdivision recreation facility, Baker said.

The deputy located a duffle bag near the restrooms which contained tools and spray paint, Baker said. The vending machine had fresh pry marks on the door and the security cameras at the pool had been covered with clothing, he said.

Hall was charged with criminal trespass and possession of tools for the commission of a crime, Baker said Thursday, adding Hall is in custody at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with an $11,700 bond.
