The Woodstock Police Department's next Community Awareness class is "Identity Theft" on September 8.
Designed to educate citizens on how to detect and defend themselves against crimes, the series of Community Awareness classes was started last year. The classes are taught by the department's Neighborhood Services Unit and last about an hour each.
The class starts at 7 p.m. at the club house in the Deer Run West subdivision. There is no pre-registraton to attend.
