Volunteers Needed for Canton's Burge Park Effort

Volunteers are needed for the effort to rebuild Burge Park in Canton, according to the city's Playful City USA Committee and Team Depot, sponsors of the project.

The makeover of the park, situated at the Crisler Street/Burge Street intersection, is to include construction of benches, picnic tables, a fence, an imagination bridge, a set of swings and a barbeque grill, officials announced.

Assistance is also sought for site preparation work beginning on July 21, officials say.
