Cherokee High Hosting Financial Aid Workshop on September 29

A financial aid workshop and senior parent night is scheduled for September 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cherokee High School auditorium in Canton, officials recently announced. All students and parents are invited to attend.

Hal Wilkinson of the Georgia Student Finance Commission will present up-to-date information on state HOPE programs, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), scholarships and other financial aid opportunities.

Cherokee High's Guidance Department will host the workshop and senior parent night. High school counselors will discuss the college and technical school search and admission process.

A question and answer period with the counselors and Wilkinson will be held.
