Nominees named for Cherokee County 2009 Teacher of the Year Award

The Cherokee County School District has announced the nominees for the county's 2009 Teacher of the Year Award. The winner will be announced in November, said Mike McGowan, director of public information, communications and partnerships.

The 36 nominees are:
