Randy Gravley, President & CEO, Tri-State Communications has been elected to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Board of Directors. He will represent all radio stations who are members of NAB from the states of Georgia and Alabama for a two-year term.
The National Association of Broadcasters is a trade association that advocates on behalf of more than 8,300 free, local radio and television stations and also broadcast networks before Congress, the Federal Communications Commission and the Courts.
Gravley is immediate Past Chairman of the Georgia Association of Broadcasters (GAB) , a Georgia trade association with membership of over 400 radio and TV stations. He currently serves as Legislative Chairman of GAB. Gravley was the youngest person to serve as the Chairman of the GAB and the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce.
Gravley’s broadcast companies owns and operates radio stations in northwest Georgia, WLJA 93.5 FM, WPGY AM 1560 in Jasper, Ga., WNGM AM 1230 in Hiawassee, Ga. Gravley’s company also has an Ownership transfer application pending before the Federal Communication Commission for WXJO AM in Gordon, Ga.
