Flagstar Bank opens on Bells Ferry Road

Flagstar Bank recently opened a new banking center at 6430 Bells Ferry Road in Woodstock. The office is situated at the Eagle Drive intersection, near Towne Lake.

A subsidiary of Flagstar Bancorp, Flagstar Bank reportedly has almost $16 billion in total assets. Based in Troy, Mich.,  Flagstar had 167 banking centers in Michigan, Georgia and Indiana at the close of first quarter of 2008, and 138 home loan centers in 26 states, according to the announcement of the new Flagstar Bank center's opening on July 9.

The banking center is open seven days a week, which is uncommon for freestanding bank locations in the Atlanta region.

Hours at the banking center on Bells Ferry Road are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to noon; and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Its drive-up window is open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
