Calling All Bands, All Musicians, All Singers, and Anyone Involved in the Music Business in Cherokee County!

On Tuesday, March 3rd, the Cherokee County Music Society will hold its first 2009 member meeting at the Woodstock Coffee House, 1428 Towne Lake Parkway, Woodstock, GA 30189 from 7-9pm. The phone number for the Woodstock Coffee House is 770-928-2901.

The meeting is open to all musicians, songwriters, industry professionals, journalists covering the music scene, venues/events/festivals, and any businesses or merchants located in Cherokee County involved directly or indirectly in the music business. Bands who have one or more members located in Cherokee County are also invited to attend.

The Society will be announcing its event schedule for the first half of 2009, and free gift drawing will be held for those in attendance!

The Cherokee County Music Society's mission statement is to create opportunities for musicians, songwriters and music-related merchants within Cherokee County by developing more opportunities to increase visibility while preserving integrity and striving for excellence in the music community; to create more awareness about the music community within Cherokee County; and to create more educational opportunities for songwriters and musicians within Cherokee County.
